How It Works

For Parents & Guardians

  • Enroll

Parents enroll their children in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. All children birth - 5 years old residing in Potter or Randall County are eligible.

3 Ways To Sign Up- Read More Below!

  • Receive

Every month, the child receives an age-appropriate book in the mail addressed to them. This helps them feel ownership of the books and see themselves as readers.

Books are 100% free to families!

  • Read

Happy reading! Books help babies learn shapes, colors, counting, and so many words. As they grow they get more rhyming text and complex plots. Imagination Library books are selected to help children be ready for kindergarten.

3 Ways To Enroll

  • The nurse will help you fill out the necessary form to get your baby enrolled to receive 60 books by the time they turn 5! This is the FASTEST way to be sure your baby is enrolled and receives as many as possible.

  • Great option if you are trying to get a large group enrolled, i.e. daycare, pre-school class. Print as many forms as you need, have parents fill it out, and mail them to us.

Imagination Library is only available in geographic areas where a local 501(c)3 has agreed to pay for the books. Storybridge is committed to be the local provider of this high-impact program because we are confident in the generosity of our community. We were able to launch in 2021 because of a handful of philanthropic individuals and families passionate about the difference that free books every month will make in a child’s early years. As this generous group grew, we grew to be the largest DPIL affiliate in TEXAS in our first 6 months, an honor we continue to hold!

Your gift can expand eligibility and make it possible for ALL CHILDREN in the TEXAS PANHANDLE to have access to free books through Dolly’s Imagination Library.
